It records where your documents are kept and what you would want, as guidance for the people who will have to act. Decisions with legal or financial consequences — making a will, making or changing a superannuation death benefit nomination, appointing an attorney, administering an estate — should be taken with a solicitor, a licensed financial adviser, your superannuation fund, or your state or territory’s Public Trustee.
The folder reproduces what you tell it. We cannot verify your answers, and the usefulness of the document depends on their accuracy and on keeping them current.
